Vehicle Wrap Questions # 1: What is a vehicle wrap?

 In Blog

One of the top services we offer is high-quality vehicle wraps because we believe nothing catches the attention of people quite like a beautiful wrap. When used for your business, this form of advertising might not look as great as some others, but it is an excellent value for your advertising dollar compared to most traditional types of advertising.

Over the next few weeks, we will be answering some of the more common questions we receive about vehicle wraps. The first question we will answer is:

What is a vehicle wrap?

There are three main categories of vehicle wraps, full coverage wraps, partial wraps, and advertising wraps.

The creation of full-coverage wraps is when large sheets of vinyl wrap film adhere to most or all of the painted services of a vehicle. The vinyl comes in a variety of colors, style finishes, and printed graphics, and can be custom printed to provide advertising for your business. We can apply these wraps to a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, trailers, motorcycles, boats, golf carts, and more.

A partial wrap can make just as big of an impact as a full wrap but generally at a lower cost.  It typically covers between half and three-quarters of the vehicle. The factory paint remains exposed on the uncovered parts.

Advertising wraps will include digitally printed designs that might consist of pictures, logos, contact information along with any other branding for your company. This type of wrap, typically printed on standard printable vinyl, has a glossy UV protective laminate finish, which adds an extra layer of protection.

Part two in this blog series will answer the question of how effective is an advertising wrap at generating new business? In the meantime, if you have any other questions or would like a quote to wrap your vehicle, contact us today.
